Sardi's East restaurant in New York City in 1965?

been recently transferred to MP3 files!

Dear Ann Sheridan fan,
If you've looked around Ann-Sheridan.com a bit, you may have noticed I thank
Ray Hagen for the contributions he's made to this site.
I had previously emailed Ray and asked him if I could interview him
about Ann. He agreed. You can read my interview with Ray
here.
During our interview, Ray mentioned he had tapes of his interview with
Ann.
A few days later, I emailed him and asked him about the tapes.
He told me they were reel-to-reel tapes. And, because he no longer
had a reel-to-reel player, he hadn't listened to the tapes since shortly
after he completed the Screen Facts magazine article he had interviewed
Ann for.
I told him if he'd be willing to send me the tapes, I would make
arrangements to have them transferred to mp3 files.
He agreed.
Ray's two interviews with Ann have since been converted. And Ray has
graciously given me the ok to make his interview (and other bonuses that
I'll talk about in a minute) available to Ann Sheridan fans through
Ann-Sheridan.com.
Ray's first interview with Ann began early in the afternoon of July 29th, 1965. As the
afternoon wore on (as you'll hear on the mp3s) the background chatter and
clatter increased.
For the second interview on September 16th, the restaurant's management
having learned of the problem, gave Ray and Ann a private backroom so
there is no background noise.
For both interviews, Ray was sure to put the mic closer to than Ann
than himself -- so you'll always be able to hear Annie above the
background noise.
These were to be the longest in-depth interviews Ann ever gave anyone
during her long career.
She was loose, funny, unguarded and extremely articulate (even
occasionally breaking into song), and the interviews give an invaluable
insight to exactly how Hollywood operated, and how the studios treated
their contract players, during the 1930s and 1940s.
As a bonus, Ray has also authorized me to include audio of the some of
